Today we mostly traveled in our bus to Guanacaste with a few short stops for shopping in between. We finished the day by spending a few hours at a nearby beach. The students stayed busy at the beach by sun bathing, catching crabs, getting pinched by crabs, and hanging out at the pool. During our drive to Guanacaste we stopped every once in awhile for a few minutes to see a white eagle, toucan bird, and monkeys. Our tour guide, Alonso is very knowledgeable about just about anything and everything in Costa Rica. He was able to tell us interesting facts and show us pictures of the birds whenever we spotted them. Brooke Bowie '12
