Today we went to a national park in Guanacaste called the Rincon de la Vieja National Park. We went on an hour and a half hike. On our hike we saw a great deal of secondary volcanic activity. For those of you who don't know, secondary volcanic activities consist of fumaroles and boiling mud. We also got to see more wildlife as we walked through the forest. Since today is our last day in Costa Rica, we spent our afternoon soaking up the rays! Believe it or not, this was an educational experience as we learned it took only five minutes to either burn or tan if you went out at the right time of day!
